Yay - you've received one of our floral arrangements and now you'd like to know how to get the most enjoyment out of it, correct?
First of all you will need to determine what it is you have received. Is it a bouquet wrapped in paper, a bouquet in a glass vase, a bouquet in a bag, a posy in a pot, a floral arrangement in a crate or is it a plant in a ceramic pot?
BOUQUET WRAPPED IN PAPER: Un-tie the twine securing the delivery tag and read the message and see who they are from - make sure to thank them. Untie the satin ribbon bow and remove the paper wrap (this can be folded and recycled with your cardboard) untie the twine around the water/hydration bag. Remove the water bag and the tissue from around the stems of the bouquet. DO NOT cut the twine which is holding the stems of the flowers together! Your bouquet has been arranged by a professional to best display their beauty, and if you cut the twine you are un-doing their hard work, and your flowers wont look as beautiful. Place the tied bouquet into a vase of water. Make sure the vase is the right size for the bouquet as you dont want the flowers leaning too heavily on the edges of the vase as this fatigues them. Make sure all the stems are well under the water line. Keep your arrangement in a well ventilated and cool spot away from strong wind, fruit and heat. Your flowers should last at least a week and some of the flowers in the bunch will likely last longer. As the flowers age, remove the perished ones and trim the stems of the remaining ones. Refresh water ever 1-2 days for best longevity. Enjoy!
